Footswitches of the Nano

The preset each footswitch of the Nano calls up – footswitch 1 and 2, each with A and B. A change is stored on the Nano at once.

Auto level

Choose the kind of sound, press Start and play for a few seconds. Level goes to 10 – the Nano's full output, which the signal on USB follows – and only the capture volume is set, so that the preset lands on its target, with room to full scale for all of them.

Microphone

Click a place on the speaker – from its centre (1) out to its edge (6) – and choose the microphone. The Nano takes both at once.

Monitor

Plays the Nano's sound from USB through another audio device – an audio interface, speakers, headphones – like the audio settings of a standalone plugin. The sound passes through the Mac, so it arrives a few milliseconds late.

Morningstar MC6 Pro Export

Creates a bank file for the MC6 Pro: your presets on page 1, their five FX slots on page 2.

Page 1: A–E = your presets, F = FX page. Page 2: A–E = the five FX slots (on/off), F = back. An expression switch moves the Amount of its FX (the AMOUNT knob) between the Min and Max set under Expression in each preset. To read which FX are on, the export loads each selected preset on the Nano for a moment and then returns to the current one. Connect the MC6 Pro to the Nano via USB (MC6 Pro USB Host port).
